Yellowstone is a hotbed for nature photography, and Fall is a beautiful time of year to visit. By late September, the crowds have thinned and the colors are simply breathtaking! I spent a couple of days in Grand Teton and then drove north through Yellowstone. Back to Teton, then back to Yellowstone, and finally out through Idaho and back to Salt Lake City. This was a solo camping trip and it got a bit lonely at times, but the solitude allowed me to dedicate all my energy to photography and I had a blast.
